The Oracle of Delphi Art Wall Clock

Price

$45.00

This artistic wall clock brings a quiet, contemplative presence to any room.

This piece illustrates the Oracle of Delphi, a figure wrapped in flowing ochre and haloed by the sun as she floats in sacred waters. She is the Pythia, the High Priestess of Apollo, who influenced every decision made in Greece, from ruler to commoner alike. A woman of incredible power, she would receive audience in the mountain-side temple after she bathed in the Castalian Spring and drank the holier water of the Cassotis. She would channel the sun-god's divine messaging, dictating wars and deciding harvests.

The thin black markers and hands keep the look minimal so the artwork remains the focal point. Lightweight and whisper-quiet, it slips onto a single hook and keeps time without ticking interruptions, making it well suited to bedrooms, studios, or mellow living spaces where atmosphere matters. Hang it above a bedside table to anchor late-night reading sessions, or let it breathe on a studio wall among sketches and canvases. The natural wood frame and plexiglass face add tactile warmth while preserving vivid printed color, so the image stays intense and soulful over time.
